ITALY Competition cyclists ride on the road in pursuit of the coveted yellow jersey. We ride offroad and wear the orange jersey. Our tour starts in San Secondo, where we warm up. The next stage then continues up to an altitude of 2000+ meters. We ride past the skiing region of Sestriere, which hosted the 2006 Winter Olympics and which also features regularly as the finish for stages in the Tour de France and the Giro d’ Italia. We stay overnight in the village of Bardonecchia, the destination for this stage. The third leg of the tour takes us back to our starting point, San Secondo. On the final day you can put yourself through your paces once more. Your luggage will be transported by a support vehicle. And, don’t worry – you’ll complete this tour without any need for doping.
